National and University Library in Ljubljana

The National and University Library in Ljubljana invites you to a presentation and press conference called SLOVENIAN BIBLIOGRAPHY on a CD-ROM, which will take place on Thursday, 26 October 1995 at 12 p.m. in the exhibition hall of the National and University Library.

Ceremonial address: Mr. Jože Osterman, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture. In the fiftieth year of publication of the SLOVENIAN BIBLIOGRAPHY in the book form, the National and University Library also presents this basic bibliographic review of the written creativity of the Slovene nation on a compact disc.

The first compact disc contains a bibliographic inventory of the Slovenian press, published between 1989 and 1994. Bibliographic data is taken from the COBIB database (in the COMARC structure), and the software for the compact disc (Windows environment) was prepared by i-Rose.

The Slovenian bibliography on a CD-ROM is not only intended for libraries, but also for a wide range of users, especially publishers and booksellers in Slovenia and around the world.
