i-Rose invented i-Track

The advantages of i-Track are visible mainly in industries such as brewing, gas and utilities. The Laško-based company i-Rose, which has been operating since 1993 and whose main activity is software development, presented itself at the world’s largest information and communication technology fair – Cebit 2008 – in March this year.

As explained by the assistant director of i-Rose, Primož Kristan, the decision was obviously the right one, as interest in their services has now grown after the fair. “At the fair, we presented a whole range of currently most sought-after products, such as i-Doc, i-Service, i-Agent, Alex and the novelty i-Track. “The latter received a particularly good response,” said Kristan, explaining: “The use of the i-Track system enables companies to effectively manage and control assets, as they can support virtually all business functions.” Business becomes transparent, and responsibilities are clearly divided between employees and participants in the business process. The system automatically creates a data warehouse, creates a partner card, a card for an individual asset and cards of individual operational service providers. ”The advantage of the novelty is that it can be integrated into an existing user information system and establish appropriate data flows.“ The advantages of i-Track are visible mainly in industries such as brewing, gas production (distribution of liquefied gases), utilities (garbage collection and removal) and charter management. “The point is that i-Track users can now track their assets at any time, so the costs of handling them are significantly reduced. The Laško Brewery, which has decided to use this system, will now have control over beer kegs, thus reducing operating costs and increasing business organization, responsiveness and, last but not least, satisfaction among business partners,” he added. Namely, the business partner is even more deeply connected to the business relationship in the system, and at the same time mutual trust and transparency of operations are increasing. i-Track also provides analytical support to partners, as it contains powerful analytics, and graphically supported reports provide an immediate and effective overview of the business or individual business process. Decision support is level based, intended for both the management team and the field worker. i-Track automatically alerts you to problems and incidents in the business process.

Cross-border business The development of the software they deal with in the company is the result of their own knowledge and experience. The latter are successfully sold to their partners, ie high-tech companies such as Hermes Softlab, Telekom, Mobitel and Iskratel. “In the development of our products and services, we constantly monitor business and information guidelines, which is one of the reasons why we decided to visit this year’s Cebit. Increasing competition in the market dictates diversity and constant technological development. “This is only possible with good and innovative approaches,” Kristan explained. The company allocates about 20 percent of its annual revenues for software and solution development, and fully re-invests its profits in its own software solutions. In line with the business goals of the company, they want to internationalize their business in the future.
