A dairy that thinks and works digitally
At the beginning of 2015, Robert Serec took over the management of Pomurske mlekarne. The company was in really bad shape – it had no delivery tracking system, no mobile sales and no inventory control. “I was aware that I could make a turnaround in the company only by carrying out a business and financial restructuring at the same time. It soon became clear that the key to success is the digitalization of the company,” explained Serec, adding,” that in a year and a half we have done a really great job in cooperation with our technological partner i-Rose from Laško, which brings positive results we can enjoy today.”
Mobile sales were one of the key ingredients that needed to be encouraged and fully restored. MSP enabled them to identify critical points in the business process, so they set up a system that offers complete clarity and seamless tracking of sales activities and inventories. “With the renewal of the IT environment and the changes we have introduced in our work routine, we have laid an excellent foundation for the future of the company. We are on the path to universal digitalisation, as I am convinced that companies that do not embark on the path of IT will lose their competitiveness and sooner or later find themselves in an extremely difficult or even unsolvable situation.” said Serec. Despite the fact that the change was great, after a while all employees recognized it as good, even excellent, as it turned out that the MSP simplified the work of employees and brought even a hint of joy into everyday tasks.
